Our Privacy Policy applies.

1. Scope

These terms and conditions govern the use of the web application and the services offered (postcard printing and shipping) by Philip Hoheisel (hereinafter "Provider"). Use of the service is permitted only to individuals who have completed their 18th year of life and are fully legally competent. Deviating conditions of the customer are not recognized unless the Provider expressly agrees to their validity.

2. Description of Services

The Provider provides a platform that includes the following services:

  • Creation of texts and content suggestions by AI-supported systems.
  • Design, physical printing, and handover of individual postcards to a postal service provider for dispatch to the recipients specified by the user.

3. Use of the AI Function (Artificial Intelligence)

The web app offers optional functions for text generation using artificial intelligence (AI).

No warranty as to content: The AI generates suggestions based on probabilities. The Provider assumes no liability for the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of the generated texts.

Duty to review: The user is obliged to independently check any text generated by the AI before ordering. By submitting the order, the user adopts the content as their own.

4. Obligations of the User & Indemnification

(1) The user warrants that they will not upload, create, or send any content (texts or images) that violates applicable law, infringes the rights of third parties, or is offensive, racist, pornographic, or harmful to minors.

(2) The user guarantees that they have all necessary rights (in particular copyright and personal rights) to the images and texts used.

(3) Indemnification: Should third parties assert claims against the Provider based on an infringement of rights by the content uploaded by the user, the user shall indemnify the Provider against all claims and the necessary costs of legal defense, to the extent that the user is responsible for the infringement.

(4) The user is responsible for the correct indication of the recipient's address. Costs for returns due to incorrect address data shall be borne by the user.

5. Conclusion of Contract & Prices

The presentation of the products in the web app serves to submit a purchase offer. By clicking the button "Place order with obligation to pay", the customer submits a binding offer to conclude a contract. The contract is concluded upon acceptance by the Provider (e.g. by order confirmation or execution of printing). All prices are total prices including statutory value-added tax.

6. Delivery, Shipping & Transfer of Risk

(1) The Provider owes the proper handover of the postcard to the postal service provider (e.g. Deutsche Post AG).

(2) Information on delivery times are non-binding guidelines. The Provider has no influence on the transit times of the postal service providers.

(3) If the customer is an entrepreneur, the risk of accidental loss or damage to the goods passes to the carrier upon handover to the postal service provider. Since the user initiates shipping to third parties, the Provider has fulfilled its performance obligation upon handover to the post.

7. Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Section 312g (2) No. 1 BGB, the right of withdrawal does not exist for contracts for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.

Note: Since the postcards are individually printed with your images and texts, cancellation or withdrawal after the contract is concluded is excluded.

8. Warranty (Liability for Defects)

The statutory provisions on liability for defects apply. The warranty covers the technical production of the card (e.g. printing errors, damage before shipping). It does not cover content errors (e.g. typos in the text approved by the user) or poor quality of the images uploaded by the user (e.g. resolution too low).

9. Limitation of Liability

The Provider is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence as well as for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence, the Provider is liable only in the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations); in this case, liability is limited to typical, foreseeable damage.

10. SlickInsider Newsletter & Account

(1) Registration & Newsletter: By registering for the free "SlickInsider" account, the user expressly consents to receiving our newsletter. The newsletter is an essential component of the SlickInsider offer. Note: The creation of a SlickInsider account is optional and is not required to place an order.

(2) Shipping service provider: The newsletter is sent via the service provider "beehiiv". The user's email address is transmitted to beehiiv for this purpose. Further information can be found in the beehiiv privacy policy.

(3) Termination & Unsubscribing: The user can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by deleting their SlickInsider account in the settings. Deleting the account ends membership in the SlickInsider program.

11. SlickPoints Loyalty Program & Volume Discounts

(1) Earning points: "SlickInsider" users receive SlickPoints exclusively through special campaigns such as friend referrals (referral program). New users who register via an invitation link receive a welcome bonus. Referring users receive a commission for orders placed by their referred friends. The points are credited after successful payment of the corresponding order.

(1a) Volume discounts: Registered SlickInsiders automatically receive volume discounts on the unit price of postcards for qualifying orders: from 2 cards 5%, from 5 cards 10%, from 10 cards 15%. The discount is automatically calculated in the checkout and is included directly in the unit price. Volume discounts and SlickPoints can be combined.

(2) Redemption & Value: SlickPoints can be exchanged for discounts or digital add-on services in the shopping cart.

  • Free card: 10 SlickPoints can be redeemed for a free postcard (100% discount on the current unit price after volume discount).
  • Partial redemption: It is possible to redeem fewer than 10 points. In this case, 1 SlickPoint corresponds to a discount of 10% on the current unit price (after volume discount) of one postcard.
  • Maximum value: A maximum of 10 points can be redeemed per card in the shopping cart.
  • Additional functions: Points can also be used to unlock digital functions (e.g. custom stamps, signatures) or other digital services, if available.

(3) Scope of services & changes: The scope of redeemable rewards, volume discounts, and digital functions is determined by the Provider. The Provider reserves the right to change, restrict, or discontinue the offer at any time. There is no entitlement to permanent availability of certain redemption options or discount levels.

(4) Expiry of points:

  • Upon termination: Upon deletion of the SlickInsider account (and thus unsubscribing from the newsletter), all collected SlickPoints expire immediately and irrevocably.
  • Regular expiry: SlickPoints are valid for 24 months from credit and expire automatically thereafter.

(5) Miscellaneous: Cash payment, interest, or transfer of points to third parties is excluded.

12. Partner Program

Our partner program allows users to earn commissions by promoting our services. For this purpose, participants use the invitation link provided by us (see section 11) to refer new customers. For every successful order from a referred customer, the referring user receives a commission in the form of SlickPoints (see section 11). The points are credited after successful payment of the order. Partners are informed in advance about the terms of participation and must agree to them before participating in the program. We reserve the right to exclude participants from the partner program in the event of violations of the terms of participation or abusive behavior and to cancel points already credited. Partners can have SlickPoints paid out in cash from a balance of €10 upon invoicing. We inform our partners about the possibility of payout as soon as they have reached the required number of points. Payout is made within 30 days of request. Partners have no claim to payout if they violate the terms of participation or abuse the partner program.

13. Final Provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply. The contract language is German. The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR): https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. We are not obliged and not willing to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board.
